The first meeting of the Steering Group for the OTGA Project (SG-OTGA) will take place between 5-7 October 2020. This will be an online, asynchronous meeting to discuss details of the project and to approve a work plan until the end of 2021.

1.1 The meeting will be opened by Ms Claudia Delgado, IODE Training Coordinator who will outline the meeting objectives. - 2 - INTRODUCTION TO THE OCEANTEACHER GLOBAL ACADEMY PROJECT
This agenda item will be introduced by Mr Greg Reed, OTGA2 Project Manager, who will provide an overview of the OTGA2 Project - 3 - IOC CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT

- 5 - CERTIFICATION AS LEARNING SERVICES PROVIDER
This agenda item will be introduced by Mr Greg Reed who will discuss the ISO 29990 certification of the IOC Project Office for IODE as a Learning services for non-formal education and training, and the transition to the ISO 29993 standard. - 6 - INTRODUCTION OF REGIONAL AND SPECIALIZED TRAINING CENTRES
Representatives of each RTC/STC will provide a presentation (maximum 10 minute) focusing on (i) description of the RTC or STC; (ii) ability to deliver online only training; (iii) proposed OTGA course outline and contents; (iii) any other issues to be discussed (all presentations to be uploaded to meeting site by 28 September). 6.1. Tsunami Unit 7.4. Ocean Literacy 7.5. IOD E 7.6. OBIS 7.7. IOCAFRIC A 7.8. IOCARIB E 7.9. WESTPAC - 8 - OTGA OPERATIONS
Ms Claudia Delgado, IODE Training Coordinator will introduce the process for organizing and managing training courses within the framework of the OTGA Project - 9 - OTGA PROJECT DOCUMENT AND PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
Mr Greg Reed will introduce this agenda item. - 10 - OTGA WORKPLAN 2020-21.
The meeting will be invited to review the work plan for 2020-21. Given the ongoing travel restrictions due to COVID-19, the focus should be on developing and delivering online courses. - 11 - CLOSING OF MEETING
