My research concerns the ecological and biological function of zooplankton. Being at the basis of the food chain, this plankton is a key role in the ecological pyramid. As a result, if planktons are in good health, we will have healthy fishes and human beings will have high quality food. In a broader context, my specific research interests can contribute to have a better understanding of how the environment functions and how to preserve it.
