Activities
My work plan proposes to study the requirements and feeding habitat selection of coastal seabirds with different trophic requirements and feeding strategies during the breeding season. Thus, the main objective of my research aims to study usage patterns and selection of feeding areas, assessing the physical, chemical and biological variables, including food characteristics (distribution, abundance, availability, quality) as potential factors determinants of this selection. Actually, my work focuses on the marine coast of Patagonia, Argentina. This information has great importance for seabird species conservation, and to work in management plans for Marine Natural Areas, promoting conservation tools.
