I collaborate with Fondazione Cetacea Onlus where I represent the Citizen Science Activities Responsible. Fondazione Cetacea works for the conservation of the Mediterranean Sea and it manages a Marine Turtles Recovery Center in which we take care about the recovered Sea Turtles and we release them free when they are safe. We work with children and students from High School and Universities with Environmental Educational Projects and we take part in some EU Projects for the Conservation of the Sea.
I even work with fishermen to teach them how to save injured turtles and we try to avoid the problem of bycatch.
I am part of Blueat project where I represent the Marine Biologist and Environmental technician. Blueat is a project that opens up new scenarios on the management and use of Alien Species. With the Blueat project, we will be able to shift the attention of the fish market demand, from traditional target species, to alien species, with the aim of reducing the over-exploitation of native species.
Meanwhile I am currently attending the National Phd Course in Climate Change and Sustainable Development and the aim of my project is to reconstruct the effects of Climate Changes in Como Lake.
