I am a biochemist diver that has been diving in Cozumel for more than 30 years. In June 2017, I joined the team of 1,500 SDG14 Ocean Ambassadors (United Nations Sustainable Development Goal SDG14:Ocean Life Below Water) at the United Nations first historical Ocean Conference. We 1,500 were invited as unpaid ocean advisors, volunteering to represent the Ocean, our role is to be the eyes, ears, minds, heart and voice of the Ocean, to be the couriers of HOPE, we deliver these messages, the “Seeds of alternative solutions, the Ideas” between the UN and the ocean communities we will serve like Cozumel. We were thoroughly vetted, then comprehensively trained over the course during a full week, 10 hour days, 100s of side event workshops and with the understanding we have to be self funded. This training continues, every month we have access to countless SDG14 hybrid workshops, regional laboratories, global summits and conferences. I am fully self funded, I am not seeking personal funds for my actions, time or talents. I am here to “Give Back” to the communities I choose to serve, I do this for the long term benefits of all children now and forever. Our role is about service to the planet for ONE PURPOSE: the restoration of the life support system, the Blue Heart of the planet. We act in defense of the Ocean, we bring seed ideas and eco-solutions to the Ocean problems to ocean communities. From 2018 until now we have formed multiple regional partnerships, in the MesoAm SDG17 Coalition program, our mission and vision is to focus and coordinate 1000s of teams, 1000s of ocean projects, to provide the guidance from UNESCO Decade of Ocean Advisory committee, the Ocean Best Practice System, the Decade implementation roadmap plan, for the regional achievement of the 2030 SDG14 objectives: Clean Air, clean water, clean food for healthy lives, clean renewable energy that will catalyze a new circular Blue Economy business creating 1000s of good paying SDG jobs across the N. Atlantic Gyre ocean biome ecosystem. Now I am humbly honored to be the spokesperson for the 25 SDG14 focused NGOs of the MesoAm SDG17 Coalition program. An SDG14/17 Subject Matter Experts Advisory network of teams deploying best practice SDG14 solutions throughout the N. Atlantic Gyre ecosystem in support of one Decade Ocean ACTIONS roadmap for the future hopes of one Billion lives. A bi-directional comprehensive funding and resource center, financially protected by an SDG14 Blockchain TRUST for the “One Ocean Team Mission” of SDG14 ACTIONs. Co-Created and founded by 25 pioneer NGO leaders and like-minded ocean stakeholders, seeking equal opportunities and benefits for all stakeholders. A co-managed SDG14 Best Practice Think Tank group, seeking collaborations across 1,000s of communities, 100s of states, 75 countries, 100s of NGOs, along with representation from and every sector; government, academic, public, business, Blue Economy and UNESCO. 30X30 Mission 100s of teams will deploy solutions to benefit the greatest number of people who are currently at the highest risk ASAP.
