Research on the topic STUDY ON FISHES OF THE FAMILY TRICHIURIDAE (Pisces: Perciformes) OF INDIAN COAST. This works involves study on systematic and phylogeny of fishes belonging to the family Trichiuridae. There are 45 species of fishes of family Trichiuridae are reported worldwide, in that 18 species are reported from Indian coasts. Present study requires identification of the species and to derive the interrelationship of the members of the family.
