Activities

 I o research in Phycology and Conservation Biology. My scientific interests occur distribution and ecology of freshwater and marine microalgae, bioindication, species composition, taxonomy of green, diatom and euglenoids algae, protection of rare species and communitieŃ–. In recent years, I have been studying the plastisphere and communities of microalgae on the surface of plastics in Turkish costal water.
