I have been working as a Senior Researcher in the TUBITAK MAM - MARINE and Coastal RESEARCH Group since 1998.  I graduated from METU as an Urban Planner in 1993. I have two Master's Degrees in City Planning and Urban Design. I have been involved in many national and international projects as GIS and coastal planning expert in the last 20 years.  My works are mostly focused on coastal and marine spatial planning within the scope of environmental management. I have also experience in environmental information systems, environmental risk assessment, and socio-economic analysis in the context of National action plans and management of the coastal areas.
