I have spent a lot of time in Aquaculture (fish Farming) at lacus fish Farm Uganda and I gained alot of skills such as fish diseases and health management, inventory management,biomass calculations, fish breeding ect and I also worked in the fish factory at greenfields Uganda limited as an internship trainee, I was a quality control supervisor of all sections in fish factory make sure the products don't contaminate . I expanded my knowledge at moheli National park in Comoros MPA, as a volunteer as well as a field supervisor of marine and coastal ecosystems management. Therefore, I participated in research expedition around Africa onboard oceanxplorer with a strong collaboration OceanQuest from Comoros to south Africa and my main focus was the study of environmental DNA (eDNA) metabarcoding to investigate the diversity of elasmobranchs sharks, skates, ray and teleost communities as well as to determine the possible presence of African coelacanths in our sampling area
