Activities
I am a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the Universidad Nacional del Sur (UNS), focusing on AI applications in marine biodiversity. My research integrates Large Language Models (LLMs), Knowledge Graphs, and Machine Learning (ML) to enhance reasoning over oceanographic data, supporting conservation efforts.
I develop computational tools to extract and structure biodiversity information from scientific documents, leveraging NLP and GraphRAG techniques.
Currently, I am refining AI-driven methodologies for analyzing marine ecosystems, aiming to improve data-driven decision-making in environmental sciences. Additionally, I am developing solutions based on Semantic Web technologies and knowledge graphs for marine science data management. I collaborate with the Argentinian OBIS node and work on managing marine biodiversity data nodes in partnership with international institutions.
