I am Wriddhi kar, a Post -Graduate from Calcutta University, currently associated with an UNESCO recognized organization named ECSF( Estuarine and Coastal Studies Foundation) whose main vision is to undertake estuarine and coastal research and education for natural resource management. Our main study area is based on the Indian Sundarbans and I am currently a research and Science Hands-on Trainee at the institution. I am looking forward to the opportunities that will help me excel my abilities for conducting scientific research in regards to Marine and Coastal Studies
Skills
I have completed my Master in Geography in 2024, and I have acquired the skills of preparing maps through Remote Sensing and GIS. I have knowledge in performing statistics for large scale data, and I have also been trained to use the R software for various research purposes. I have experiences of field works and use of the various instruments like clinometer, Abney level, Prismatic Compass, Dumpy Level and many more.
