Co-Chair of the IUCN CEM Expert Group on Deep-sea Mining;
I have been part of the UK Delegation to the International Seabed Authority (ISA) as technical expert on deep-sea ecology and impact assessment;
I work at the Science-Policy Interface providing advice on Environmental Impact Assessments;
Otherwise my interests are in International Environmental Law, especially the UNCLOS and its application, Science Diplomacy, and Critical Thinking. I am a birder and happiest in the outdoors.
