I run programs called Ocean Awareness in Sligo.
I have been volunteering for the last 8 years running surf and ocean education programs with County Sligo Surf Club. I have also been collaborating with Leargas/Erasmus on rolling out Ocean Awareness programs with Youth organisations, and most recently studying at Maynooth Uni working on EU mobility programs.
It was suggested I get involved with the IOLN and Ocean Mission 2030, with a particular focus on ESC collaboration. I am presently partnering with a number of organisations running 'Blue Mind' focused activities. This includes Summer Inclusion Programs, Mental Health workshops, CSSC Surf Acadamy and other activity based education programs. I can see a wonderful opportunity to get involved with similar minded partners to learn from and possibly work on some projects together.
These Ocean Expert modules are a fantastic way to educate participants who are new to the language and design principals and I would really appreciate the opttunity to be enrolled in it.
