Graduate in Biological Sciences received from the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences. National University of Mar del Plata (1999). Currently, she works as a professional researcher in the Department of Invertebrate Fisheries and Marine Environment of the INIDEP of Mar del Plata. Since 1999 I have been responsible for the planning and coordination of activities related to the study of the abundance, diversity and distribution of bacterioplankton in marine environments and its relationship with the trophic chain in areas of fishing interest. These activities are carried out within the framework of the Molecular Genetics and Microbiology Office and the Marine Plankton Dynamics and Climate Change project that is carried out at INIDEP. I carry out research activities on diversity of marine microorganisms in collaboration with National and International Teams: Center for Research and Development in Industrial Fermentations of the National University of La Plata (CINDEFI), Golfo San Jorge Group and Climate Change Group of Pampa Azul, ICoMM-International Census of Marine Microbes, Working Group on Environmental Affairs of the CTMFM. I am a member of the ChloroGIN-ANTARES network (www.antares.ws) that brings together time-series study stations; with emphasis on bio-optics, phytoplankton and physical oceanography activities and also, I am a member of the Pampa Azul Long-Term Marine Observation Network (ROMA) (www.pampazul.gob.ar/tag/roma/). From 2018 to date, I have participated in the project "A global study of productivity, deoxygenation and ocean acidification at selected sites" of the Network "Nippon Foundation-Pogo Alumni Network For Oceans" (NANO, https://nf-pogoalumni. org/projects/global/). I have published 22 scientific papers, 24 national and 25 international conferences. I have prepared 60 technical reports and have participated in 106 research campaigns. I have taken numerous courses to specialize and have participated in 106 INIDEP research campaigns: 5 as chief scientist and 101 as a researcher responsible for taking and processing samples, on board research vessels, with the aim of studying the biomass and biodiversity of the bacterioplanton, enumerate and characterize hydrocarbon degrading bacteria and catabolic genes, diversity of bacteria associated with microplastics and search for Vibrio cholerae in water samples, plankton (phyto and zooplankton) and fish; and collaboration in the biological sampling of fish and Bio-optical variables (chlorophyll, particulate absorption), nutrients and concentration of pigments and toxins, with a total of 644 days sailed.
