My project “Lens” was funded by the Arts council of Wales Jan 2022 and was chosen by ITSLIQUID to be exhibited at the VENICE INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2022 - 15TH EDITION but I was unable to cover any of the cost to cover the art fair hence due to funding the project could not be exhibited.
My previous work prior to my moving image work was writing and directing short films. I have written and directed seven short films before my change in practice to a good standard (I won an Audience Choice Award and have been shortlisted and officially selected by many BAFTA qualifying festivals).
I moved towards creating moving image projects during the course of my MA in film, around the end of 2018.
I have made five moving image projects between 2018 and 2022 and written 2 essays on my work for and process for moving image artists Daniel & Clara who run a moving image artist site
https://movingimageartists.co.uk/mia-journal/I was also chosen by B3 Biennial for the Moving Image + HessenLab 2021 as an emerging talents from the international field of moving images and attended the four day training experience and networking received an accreditation for the entire B3 2021 program supported by Hessian Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and the Arts.

Commission for research and development of a short film titled Blue Ocean/Cefnfor Glas
Curiosity and wonder will lead Frayne-Ford in learning more about our relationship, experience and current understanding of the Welsh coastlines and their position within the United Nations ‘Ocean Literacy’. Developed through non-linear progress, continued observation and use of Super 8 and Digital 16mm cameras, a moving image piece will act as a legacy for our coastline, leading communities to contribute to sustainable development solutions.
