Dr. Luzhen Chen earned her Ph.D. in 2005 from School of Life Sciences at Xiamen University in China. She is currently a professor in Ecology from College of the Environment and Ecology at Xiamen University. Her research field is wetland ecology, focusing in mangroves and global change, blue carbon and biodiversity of coastal wetlands. She published numerous scientific papers in international journals and book chapters.
