I have worked as an engineer assistant in the Department of Oceanography. I am a data analyst with more than 20 years of experience in the management, processing and interpretation of oceanographic variables (Currents, Tide, Wave, CTD Profiles) and meteorological variables (Wind, Air Temperature, Atmospheric Pressure, Humidity, Precipitation, Solar Radiation) , as well as in the processing and interpretation of data for the characterization of currents, tides, waves and sedimentation regime of estuaries, rivers, coastal areas and port terminals. I have also actively participated in the conceptualization of dredging projects for the oil and gas industry.
I have participated in field work: field hydrographic measurements, processing, interpretation and validation of measurements. Assistance to navigation and positioning of vessels with DGPS systems. Inspection of dredging.
I am a specialist in geographic information systems using ArcGis applied to geodesign, environment, oil and gas.
I have knowledge and experience in programming (C #, Visual Basic, VBA, Javascript) and database management (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Access) which has developed programs for tide and current prediction, harmonic tide analysis, software for the capture and monitoring of meteorological and oceanographic variables in real time, scrips or macros for data processing, as well as in the design of a database for the storage of oceanographic and meteorological variables.
