- extensive literature search and review on biotic integrity indices that evaluate riverine quality, using fish community data;
- data alignment of several large datasets (2
different periods), while preparing for subsequent data analysis and
calculation of fish biotic indices;
- calculation of the fish-based biotic index for the sampling sites (135), compared between subdrainages and decomposed by each biotic metric;
- statistical tests to compare the biotic index, per river typology, per metric to evaluate temporal changes of river quality indices.
