Strong understanding and practical experience of web technologies, e.g., web GIS, databases (relational, key-value, XML document stores), server setup/admin (Linux), working to OGC (WMS, WFS, WCS), ISO 19115/19139 geographic metadata), W3C and biodiversity informatics standards (TDWG, EML, GSC). Languages: JavaScript, HTML,CSS,XML,XSLT,XSL-FO; XPath/XQuery. Tools and frameworks: MapServer, GeoServer, Apache/Tomcat, Apache Cocoon, eXist & BaseX XML DBs, IPT, LaTeX. Semantic Web technologies: RDF, RDFS/OWL, SPARQL
