- The main research work in the sphere of fishing oceanology and ecology of the Black and Azov Seas as well as in the Indian Ocean; - program implementation for the collection and processing of the natural measurement data; - prognostication as to the fishery efficiency of some commercially efficient species of the Black and Azov Seas and the Southern Ocean; - studies on mechanisms of the marine ecosystems functioning; - studies on possibility of the mariculture development in the Black Sea.
