At its 10th Session held in Muscat, Oman, 24-26 March 2015, the Intergovernmental Coordination Group for the Indian Ocean Tsunami Warning and Mitigation System (ICG/IOTWMS) decided to conduct an intersessional meeting of its Working Group 2 on Tsunami Detection, Warning and Dissemination. The following Member States expressed interest in joining the Working Group: Australia, India, Indonesia, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Kenya, Madagascar, Oman, Pakistan and Tanzania. Through Circular Letter No. 2598, Tsunami National Contacts (TNCs) of these Member States have been invited to nominate experts to be members of the Working Group.
