Activities
The CESRAM association, Centro Studi e Ricerca Ambiente Marino, is a non-profit organization, based in Calabria, founded in November 2010; it conducts monitoring programs of marine-coastal habitats, pursuing objectives of social utility in the field of protection and enhancement of nature with the aim of promoting research and scientific dissemination actions, in collaboration with national and international organizations. The association takes care of scientific and professional training, with equal opportunities for all, through training courses, work placements and internships. In recent years, the educational laboratories and citizen science activities organized have reached a large catchment area, educating future generations on the conservation and protection of the marine-coastal environment. The scientific committee is composed of professionals from the national and international scientific community with specific skills, including marine biologists, MMO/PAM operators, naturalists, GIS technicians, agronomists and biotechnologists. The CESRAM association operates at regional, national and international level, offering scientific consultancy services and environmental monitoring studies.
