Activities

The Cleaner Ocean Foundation is active in the field of zero emission ocean transport. At present represented by the "Elizabeth Swann" project, a hydrogen powered blue water trimaran. This project is an official EU Water Mission: https://maritime-forum.ec.europa.eu/node/5472_en The aim of the project is to develop and build a long distance ship, to prove hydrogen fuel may be used in shipping as a practical alternative to heavy diesel bunker oil.
