The Coast Guard is the component of the Armed Forces dedicated to the defense and protection of the country's economic interests at sea under national jurisdiction and to air and naval support for land and amphibious operations, in accordance with its specific missions. The Coast Guard has as its key missions the patrolling, inspection, surveillance and protection of our seas, as well as support in case of search and rescue.
