Activities
Brazil has great social inequality and a huge lag in education. Disadvantaged social classes have no access to quality education. Paraty is a natural paradise, but has overfishing, massive trawling, shark predation and other predatory activities; there is no environmental education in the schools, selective waste collection and treated sewage for all.
Our project is a pioneering initiative, which aims to inspire and encourage environmental awareness in low-income young of Brazilian coastal community, through a marine biology and sustainability course and scuba diving experience. Believing in the power of scuba diving to raise awareness, we provide an impactful experience to develop an environmental awareness in our students.
