Activities

Aves Argentinas is the national organization that, made up of more than 3000 members and with more than 100 years of life, protects the wild birds and nature of Argentina. We are members of BirdLife International, the world's largest network of nature conservation organizations.

At Aves Argentinas we work in favor of more than 1000 species of wild birds and their environments, with projects and actions for conservation, research, education and outreach together with researchers, volunteers, technicians and a wide network of volunteers and more than 100 Clubs of Bird watchers.

We contribute to the conservation of habitats; identifying, monitoring and restoring important areas for bird conservation. We protect sites and promote the care of these key areas for biodiversity, promoting public policies and generating urban reserves and National Parks. We carry out environmental conservation projects in Patagonia, the Atlantic Forest and the Pampas.
