Ravenna Municipality is the wider municipality in Italy. It faces the north Adriatic sea, and has got about 37km of coast, with several areas affected by strong erosion issues, due to poor river transport, subsidence worsen by climate change effects.
Ravenna Municipality is responsible of its own beaches management and put in place several protection project every year.
