Activities
The Hippocampus Institute works with scientific research and environmental education related to the protection of seahorses and their relatives. To fulfill the conservation objectives, we have developed research and protocols in the areas of biology, ecology, parasitology, prophylaxis and treatments, food, reproduction and laboratory cultivation. We monitor gill and trawling to estimate the bycatch of seahorses present.
