Activities

INSIVUMEH is a highly qualified technical-scientific institution that contributes to the optimization of activities of the productive sector of the Republic of Guatemala.

Associated to the atmospheric, geophysical and hydrological sciences, coordinating services with the private sector and acting as technical adviser to the government in case of natural disasters.
In addition, it plans, designs and executes studies and monitoring systematized in the appropriate technology, enriching the databases and geographic reference systems of the country, thus contributing to the modernization and specialization of the education sector at all levels in the field of its competence.
