Activities
The IOC Regional Committee for the Central Indian Ocean (IOCINDIO) includes the following Member States: Australia, Bangladesh, France, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom. The Committee fosters regional and international cooperation in ocean sciences, technology, and innovations towards sustainable development in the region. It promotes the global IOC programmes.
(August 2025: no website and no dedicated secretariat/office establised - therefore country is for now France)
