Activities
- Drive the development of a coordinated National and EU wide outreach program to connect, promote, encourage, uncover and develop aquaculture technology firms and innovation to support and facilitate Ireland’s ambitions for the sector.
- Plan and coordinate events to promote discussion and the further development of an Irish Aquatech eco-system by connecting all stakeholders and interested parties through workshops, events and / or industry meetings
- Assist in identifying technologies / opportunities outside of the aquaculture sector that may have applications and solutions for the global seafood industry
- Coordinate and lead the annual BIM Aquatech Innovation Studio activities from launch to completion along with the development of other high profile events, webinars etc
- Attend national and EU related aquaculture events and fulfil speaking opportunities as appropriate to promote the Hatch / BIM initiative and Ireland’s aquatech capabilities and ambitions
-Help develop and promote an innovative connected aquaculture community in order to drive innovation and develop the value of the sector nationally and to raise Ireland’s profile internationally as a key location for innovation
- Create and foster a network of key relationships with key stakeholders within the aquaculture community to curate and identify early stage ideas and concepts
