Activities
In the modern world, Plastics have gained infamy
as one of the most pressing environmental issues of our present lives.
The situation results in a persistent, ubiquitous presence of plastics
in the ocean. To better quantify global plastic pollution transport and
to effectively reduce sources and risks, a thorough understanding of
origin, transport, fate, and effects of riverine or oceanic plastic
debris is crucial. These are the main goals of my present research
activities.
