Water quality assessment (physicochemical, biological, habitat) throughout Maryland from Atlantic Ocean to Ohio River drainage - includes Chesapeake Bay, free-flowing rivers, lakes and reservoirs. Manage State's nutrient and sediment load monitoring project for Chesapeake Bay restoration modelling. Conduct analyses of water quality status and trends, special studies on mine drainage and lake assessment. Review sampling designs and assist in study collaboration efforts.
