Activities
I am part of the Ocean Ecology Lab (OEL) at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). As part of the OEL, Field Support Group (FSG), we are responsible for ocean color satellite validation through field campaigns, lab experiments, and generating measurement protocols. I am the lead scientific analyst for collection, processing, and analysis of phytoplankton imaging data using automated imaging instruments like the Imaging FlowCytoBot (IFCB), FlowCAM, and sorting flow cytometer. The data generated from these instruments is used to validate and verify ocean color data. I also assist with procurement of lab equipment and consumables, as well as coordination of field campaigns around the world.
