PhD in Ecology of Continental Aquatic Environments from the State University of Maringá (UEM-NUPELIA), with an 18-month sandwich scholarship at the Institut d'Ecologia Aquatica, University of Girona (UdG-Spain), Master in Animal Biology and Graduate in Zootechny from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). She is currently Associate Professor III at Fluminense Federal University (UFF), Department of Zootechny and Sustainable Socioenvironmental Development (MZO). Coordinator of the Laboratory of Applied Ecology, MZO/UFF. Since 2013, she has been accredited as a professor at the Permanent Center of the Graduate Program in Ocean and Earth Dynamics DOT/UFF, and since 2015 in the Graduate Program in Marine Biotechnology at IEAPM/UFF. Since 2010, he has been the leader of the CNPq Research Group: Production of Aquatic Organisms and Sustainable Development. President of the Biosafety Commission of the Faculty of Veterinary - UFF (2019-2022). Member of the Technical Chamber of Family Aquaculture and Artisanal Fisheries (CTAFPA), of the State Council for Sustainable Rural Development of Rio de Janeiro - CEDRUS, of the State Secretariat for Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Supply - SEAPPA (2022). Has experience in fish biology and ecology with emphasis on trophic ecology and food; ecology of aquatic environments; invasive species; management and conservation of fish assemblage; sustainable fish farming; and marine biotechnology.
