I am PhD Student at Griffith University researching Climate Change threats to Coastal activities such as Aquaculture. I have a bachelor degree in Biology- University of Brasilia (2001) and a Master's Degree on Environmental Engineering - Federal University of Santa Catarina (2006 ). both in Brazil. Works as a Water Infrastructure Analyst for the Brazilian Government in the Ministry of Economy in the Bureau of Public Land and Water administration of Brazil located in Florianopolis- I am currently on a a job leave to study. The job involves patrimonial and environment issues regarding Local Development of public assets, such as public land and water destinations specially Ports and Water Infrastructure and also participating in Nature Conservation Units as a Counselor. Marina has planned some Mangrove and Beach restoration projects in Public Federal areas and is also interested in Marine and Water Cadastre and Marine Spatial Planning Marina has worked in other Ministries before in the same career and has been a Professor for the National Environmental Guard (Justice Ministry), Graduation UNIP and a Colaborate Professor at UDESC. Marina is also a Mother to 2 investigative and curious beings (2015 and 2016) and is dedicated to parenting and trying to balance work, capacity building and family.
