I am a research assistant with the 4-Oceans ERC project within the Centre for Environmental Humanities at Trinity College Dublin. The main goal of the 4-Oceans project is to better understand when, where and by whom the oceans were exploited over the last 2,000 years. To this end, I am engaged with data management, specifically the production of standardised scientific data from historical materials. My research interests include marine environmental history, the deep sea, indigenous knowledge and science communications. I am also actively interested in environmental policy on a national and global scale.
