Third session of the IODE Group of Experts on Biological and Chemical Data Management and Exchange Practices (GE-BICH-III)
| Summary | The 3d Session of the IODE Group of Experts on Biological and Chemical Data Management and Exchange Practices was held at the IOC Project Office for IODE from 27 to 28 November 2006. The Session was attended by five regular group members and by the representatives from FAO/FIGIS, ETI, OBIS, TDWG, and ICES. The Group analyzed the fulfillment of the action plan for 2004-2006 and adopted a detailed work plan for 2006-2008. The Group considered the wish of Dr. Edward Vanden Berghe, GE-BICH chair, to step down the chair position and decided to have two co-chairs responsible for biological and chemical issues. Gwenaelle MONCOIFFÉ and Dr. Sergey KONOVALOV were elected as the Group co-chairs. |
