Update on Ocean Decade Implementation, including process for registration for 2024 Ocean Decade Conference (Barcelona, April 2024)

Summary

Provides an update on key information on the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development in relation to: (i) registration for the 2024 Ocean Decade Conference (Barcelona, April 2024) by 10 February; (ii) appointment of new expert members of the Decade Advisory Board; and (iii) invitation to participate in the review of the draft White Papers of the Vision 2030 process. Re. (iii) the 10 draft white papers are open for review until 22 February 2024; related webinars are planned between 12 & 16 February.
