Proposed Corrections/Additions to the Tsunami Glossary Publication
| Summary | This document contains corrections/additions proposed by the community since the publication of the current version of the Tsunami Glossary. This document is updated as necessary to reflect the important role of the tsunami community in unifying terminology and the role of UNESCO in harmonizing them in various languages. The content of the document is subject to validation by the 8th session of the Working Group on Tsunamis and Other Hazards related to Sea-Level Warning and Mitigation Systems for validation (TOWS-WG-VIII). Validation of the proposed amendments would justify a revised edition of Tsunami Glossary if TOWS decides so and will be subsequently endorsed by the Governing Bodies of the Commission. |
